Mac n cheese sauce from scratch

I cook one cube butter with 4 tblspoon flour stir
Let foam up. To cook out flour taste
Pour in three to four. Cups milk
Stir in tsp salt 1/2 tsp peppar
Two shakes hot sauce
Shred mild cheddar cheese three cups set aside
Hubbys job!
Let milk and flour mixture come to a bubbling boil simmer stirring to thicken
Once to desired consistency
Stir in shredded cheese (usually I add Mozerella and parmesian to better taste) sprinkle extra on top
Then bake at 350 for 30 min.
This time I boiled bow tie pasta for seven min all dente drained and let sit in warm cheese sauce
Served with frozen peas is my fav.

  1. next time I make this I want to add shredded onion! Tony and Nicole say it tastes great with onion I gotta try it!
